4 bold predictions for the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4 vs. Eagles

The San Francisco 49ers are heading into their Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles with a long list of injury concerns once again.

Kyle Shanahan has no clue whether he will have quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo or tight end George Kittle. Other names like Jordan Reed, Dee Ford, and Raheem Mostert are banged up as well. Both Reed and Ford are out for this week’s game, but Mostert has a chance to play.

Despite all of their injuries, the 49ers blew out the New York Giants by a final score of 36-9. New York may not be a good football team, but the 49ers winning in this fashion without some key players was still a good win.

Nick Mullens filled in at quarterback for the injured Garoppolo. He completed 25 of his 36 pass attempts for 343 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. Those numbers have made the 49ers feel comfortable that Mullens will be just fine if he has to start against the Eagles.

All of that being said, let’s take a look at four bold predictions for the 49ers this week as they take on the Eagles.
