Russell Wilson Will Throw For 5 More TDs
Throughout the offseason, Seahawk fans took to twitter to express their frustrations with the team after another playoff elimination. The fans felt that the best way to approach the 2020 NFL season was too — as they put it — “Let Russ Cook”.
It seems that the front office heard and listened to the 12s as thus far throughout the first three weeks, Russell Wilson has been indeed, cooking.
In their win against the Cowboys this past Sunday, Wilson broke an NFL record being the only quarterback to throw for 14 touchdowns in the first three games of an NFL season. So far on the year, Wilson has completed 79 of 103 (76.7%) passes, 925 yards, 14 touchdowns and 1 interception.
On Sunday, they will be facing a Miami defense that is currently allowing 265.7 yards through the air 21.7 points per game. Star CB Byron Jones, who they signed in the offseason is most likely going to miss this game with a strained groin / hamstring injury that he suffered in their Week 2 loss.
This Seattle offense is the second highest scoring offense in the league behind the Green Bay Packers. On Sunday, I expect them to drop 40+ points on this weakened Miami secondary led by none other than future MVP, Russell Wilson.
