What’s Next For Dak Prescott?

Finally, the Cowboys still have plenty of work to do with franchise quarterback Dak Prescott. As of right now, he is on the franchise tag, but he certainly doesn’t want to play the 2020 season on the tag if at all possible.

Prescott put together a solid 2019 season, completing 65.1 percent of his pass attempts for 4,902 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also picked up 277 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

Dallas cannot afford to play around with Prescott’s contract. Finding a quarterback capable of being a franchise guy isn’t easy. Jerry Jones needs to pay up and get a deal done with his quarterback soon.

The two sides may not get something done ahead of the NFL Draft. However, they need to figure it out in the next month or two.
