Does JuJu Smith-Schuster Need More Help At WR?

JuJu Smith-Schuster is an NFL superstar and that should not be debated at all. However, his production in 2019 was a major disappointment.

After an offseason of back-and-forth talking with Antonio Brown and the former Steelers’ star having some very negative things to say about JuJu, Smith-Schuster was unable to have the breakout season many were expecting.

When everything was said and done, Smith-Schuster caught just 42 passes for 552 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. Part of the issue could have been that defenses were able to focus solely on him. Looking ahead to 2020, does Smith-Schuster need more help at wide receiver?

Quite simply, the Steelers should absolutely be looking for a receiver in the middle rounds of the draft. Names like Chase Claypool, Tyler Johnson, and Michael Pittman Jr. would all make a lot of sense. Pittsburgh needs more offensive firepower and the NFL Draft is loaded with talent at wide receiver.
