4. Jeff Gladney, TCU
This may be a name that most fans haven’t paid much attention to so far in the draft process. However, Jeff Gladney has the potential to be one of the top playmaking defensive players of the entire draft class.
Gladney put together a solid season in 2019 for the Horned Frogs. He ended up with 31 total tackles, 0.5 sacks, an interception, and 14 defended passes. Opposing teams tried to stay away from Gladney, but when they did target him, he found ways to break the pass up.
At 6-foot-0 and 183 pounds, there are some concerns about his ability to cover the NFL’s elite and stronger receivers. Gladney has been doubted a lot throughout his career and he would love the opportunity to prove his doubters wrong once again with the Falcons.
