Dalvin Cook Will Win 2020 Rushing Title

Dalvin Cook was neck-and-neck with Carolina Panthers star Christian McCaffrey for the top NFL rusher midway through the 2019 season.

During Cook’s first 10 starts in 2019, he rushed for 991 yards. As injuries mounted, he was limited to 144 rushing yards his next four starts. In 14 games, he totaled 1,135 yards on the ground with 13 touchdowns. Catching out of the backfield he piled up 53 catches for 519 yards.

While 2019 was his career year and the healthiest he has been in the league, 2020 should be even better. With Cook as the Vikings bell cow running back, he should feast on teams in 2020. With Diggs out of the picture, the Vikings will turn to their running game and play through Cook. Doing so, Cook should have his best season yet. When the regular season ends, he will be crowned with the rushing title.

With Cook set to become a restricted free agent in 2021, he is going to play lights out in 2020 to kick up contract extension talks talks.
