3. Lavert Hill, Cornerback, Michigan

At this point in time, Lavert Hill is a guy projected to go in either round three or four. The Panthers should be looking at cornerbacks in that range and he could be an interesting option for them.

Hill is a bit undersized at 5-foot-11 and 182 pounds, but his speed and quickness allow him to overcome that. He ended up with 16 tackles, three interceptions, and 10 defended passes in 2019 with the Wolverines. His tackling could be an issue at the next level, but his playmaking could cause problems for opposing offenses.

Taking him would be a bit of a risk for the Panthers, but they need to take some risks. Hill could be the kind of playmaker that helps turn their secondary around.
