2. Jaylon Johnson, Cornerback, Utah
This option would be one that the Panthers would have to spend a second-round pick on. However, Jaylon Johnson is one of the most talented defensive backs available in this draft class.
Johnson has all of the tools to become a star in the NFL. He is a bit raw, but the right coaching staff will be able to develop him perfectly. In 2019 with the Utes, Johnson recorded 36 tackles, two interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and 11 defended passes.
Carolina needs guys who can not only make plays, but also make plays while not blowing coverages. They will need some pure playmakers, but Johnson can do it all. Taking him in the second round should be an easy decision for the Panthers.
