Special Teams
Special teams units play a larger role on the outcome of games then they get credit for. If the special teams unit messes up a kick or a punt, it could affect the entire outcome of the game; which is why their success is a major factor of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Both of these teams have very good special teams units, but the unit that is able to flip field position the best or put their team in great position with punts could be the winner of the game. Field position will play a huge role in deciding the outcome of the game on Sunday and the special teams unit can control that.
A missed extra point, muffed punt, or blown return coverage could be a costly turning point in the game. The team with the better special teams unit will come out on top on Sunday and the special teams unit and their success will play a massive role in the outcome of the game.
