The Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons squared off in an NFC South showdown during the NFL’s Week 5 slate.

The Falcons attempted to rally back late and narrowed the disadvantage they faced on the scoreboard to 20-10 entering the final quarter. The Panthers held on and managed to win with 23-16 being the final score.

After getting this win, the Panthers now hold a 3-2 record entering a Week 6 matchup with the Chicago Bears. Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons regressed to 0-5 and quickly made some leadership changes ahead of their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings.
