The Carolina Panthers Could Be A Playoff Team

The consensus from experts before the season began seemed to be the Carolina Panthers being projected to finish last in the NFC South standings. Now, that no longer appears to be the case.

When observing the Panthers, it’s clear they have a strong grasp for the fundamentals as expected from a well-coached team. Carolina just needs another dynamic element to enter the mix to take the next stop offensively and Christian McCaffrey should do the trick.

As for defense, the Panthers allowed a pair of 30+ point outings from their opponents to begin the season, but have allowed an average of 17.7 points over the last three weeks.

Holding a winning record through the initial five games of the season is an intriguing sign for the Panthers. Additionally, they are tied for first place in the NFC South with a real shot to make the playoffs.
