Jamal Adams Made a Big Impact
Before the offseason came to an end, the Seahawks pulled off a blockbuster trade to land All-Pro safety Jamal Adams from the New York Jets. While many questioned the move for Seattle, his impact is unquestionable and it was seen in Week 1 against the Falcons.
During Adams’ debut with the Seahawks, he managed to lead all defenders in this game in total tackles (12), solo tackles (8), and tackles for loss (2). Additionally, he accounted for half of the team’s two sacks in this game.
It seemed that Adams was flying around all over the field making his presence felt. While one player can only do so much, he managed to make more than enough of a difference against a Falcons offense that can rival just about any in the talent department.
Having game-changing players is essential to field a truly great team. The Seahawks needed to add one this offseason and that become more true than ever following the departure of Jadeveon Clowney in free agency.
