4 major takeaways from the Bengals vs. Eagles matchup in Week 3

The 0-2 Philadelphia Eagles played host to the 0-2 Cincinnati Bengals Sunday afternoon. The Bengals entered the game led by rookie QB Joe Burrow while the Eagles followed their QB, Carson Wentz into the Week 3 matchup.

The Eagles were looking to fix a run defense that gave up 191 yards on the ground against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2 and with Joe Mixon coming into town, Jim Schwartz had his work cut out for him.

The Bengals were searching for their first win after two tough losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and the Cleveland Browns.

Both teams desperately needed the win so much so, that four quarters was not enough to determine a winner. In overtime, both teams squandered their chances to walk away with a victory, and the game ended in a tie at 23-23.

With that being said, here are four takeaways from the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Philadelphia Eagles matchup in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
