2. Bengals Played With Heart

After starting the season 0-2 and led by a rookie QB, the Cincinnati Bengals were not given much of a chance to leave Philadelphia with a win. But that’s why the game is played on the field and not on paper.

For a young team, it was the Bengals who played as if they were the veteran team and the Eagles were in the rebuilding stage.

Although the offensive line surrendered eight sacks, they still held up when they needed to. Joe Burrow was the No. 1 pick but he’s still a rookie going against a veteran defense and coordinator in Schwartz.

The defense, even with their miscues in the late stages of the game, bent but did not break. Even at 0-2, the Bengals never panicked and stuck to their game plan. This team is young and throughout the season, they will go through their growing pains. But if they stay the course, they will be a team to put fear in some of the top contender’s hearts this year.
