1. Wentz Saved His Job

Carson Wentz, once regarded as the face of the Eagles’ franchise, could easily find his way to the bench this season. After the Eagles went up 17-0 on the Washington Football Team in Week 1, Wentz and the Eagles have gone downhill since.

Through most of the game, Wentz looked as if he had no idea what was going on out on the field. As the game started to wind down and crunch time hit, the Eagles QB showed why he was once in the running for league MVP a few seasons ago.

Wentz led the Eagles on an important touchdown drive to end the game and almost pulled out the win in overtime if not for costly penalties by the offensive line.

Fans are calling for Jalen Hurts and it looked as if Doug Pederson would have a tough decision to make heading into Week 4. However, Wentz stepped up and saved his job. At least for a week.
