The Ravens’ Defense Kept Joe Mixon In Check

If there is a player that has embodied the definition of the word ‘inconsistent’ to start the season, it’s been Bengals running back Joe Mixon.

In Week 4, Mixon produced an incredible 25 carries, 151 yards, and two touchdowns in the ground-game against the Jaguars. He added six catches, 30 yards, and one touchdown as a receiver out of the backfield.

Mixon followed up what was by far his best outing of the young 2020 season with an absolute dud. He finished with just 24 carries for 59 yards with just three receptions for four yards.

It’s an absolute must for the Bengals to establish consistency with Mixon within their offense. Until then, it will be a challenge for Cincinnati to produce against tougher defenses.
