Chase Edmonds Provided Intriguing Contributions
When thinking of the Cardinals’ offense, it’s expected for DeAndre Hopkins to put up big numbers and for Kyler Murray to get the job done both on throws and on carries.
The Cardinals’ offensive unit is beginning to find its form beyond the superstars. Kenyan Drake usually is productive for the Cardinals while some of the pass catchers like Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald, and Andy Isabella to step up.
There was another contributor added into the mix this week for the Cardinals. A relatively surprising outing from Chase Edmonds played a key role in this game. He used eight touches to total 92 total yards from scrimmage with a touchdown.
It will be interesting to see if the Cardinals will involve Edmonds more in their offense going forward. He provided some needed plays throughout the flow of this game while Drake took some time to get going.
