The Cardinals Had A Bounce-Back Performance
Entering this matchup on a two-game losing streak, it was vital the Cardinals managed to get a win against the Jets. Especially when considering their two losses came against less-than-stellar opponents.
The Cardinals’ offense managed to achieve 496 total yards of offense while Kyler Murray recorded a career-high 380 passing yards. Arizona managed to find the end-zone on four possessions while turning it over just once. Overall, it was a strong outing on offense.
There wasn’t much more that could have been asked from the Cardinals’ defense in this game. While the Jets have a terrible offense, it’s still up to the opposition to execute as expected, which Arizona did.
Now, the Cardinals have a winning record through five weeks entering a matchup with the Cowboys. If Arizona can get the win, they will be well in play to contend in the NFC West as they take on the division-leading Seahawks in Week 7.
