1. Russell Wilson Continues Dominance
The level of play Russell Wilson has provided the Seahawks so far this season has been nothing short of spectacular. That was the case yet again in Week 3 against the Cowboys.
Wilson completed 27-of-40 (67.5%) pass attempts resulting in 315 yards and five touchdown throws. It’s important to note, he would have added another touchdown pass had DK Metcalf not slowed down prior to almost crossing the goal-line on a deep pass — resulting in a fumble and touchback.
There was simply no answer for the Cowboys’ defense throughout this game. Wilson’s explosive production forced Dallas to have a thin margin for error and their offensive shortcomings proved to be too much to overcome.
If Wilson can relatively maintain his recent production, it would be a surprise to not see him land the MVP award. His production has just been that incredible and has been in a class of its own.
