The 2020 NFL season kicked off with some intriguing Week 1 matchups for fans to enjoy. The AFC East featured a 21-11 win by the New England Patriots over the Miami Dolphins and it marked the debut of Cam Newton.

The steady output the Patriots provided actually could have been greater had N’Keal Harry not fumbled the ball when attempting to cross the goal-line. The sequence that occurred with under a minute remaining in the first quarter and took away a potential touchdown for New England.
The Patriots managed to send a message that they are to still be feared as a team. Just because Tom Brady is no longer at quarterback for New England doesn’t mean they are destined for failure, and Bill Belichick showed why in Week 1.
