Steelers’ Offense Is Firing On All Cylinders

A lot of the attention placed on the Steelers typically goes to the defense. In this game, it was Pittsburgh’s offense that managed to make the difference in a winning effort.

Not only did the Steelers put 38 points on the board, they managed to record a touchdown in each quarter. Overall, they finished with 367 total yards of offense and had a positive turnover differential.

The Steelers were efficient on offense when it mattered most— going 11-of-15 (73.3%) on 3rd down conversions and being a perfect 3-of-3 (100%) in the red-zone. Aside from the final possession used to run out the clock, the Steelers managed to score a touchdown on all but three of their possessions.

It’s going to be tough to defeat the Steelers if they can continue to execute at such a high-level on offense. Their defense gets to the quarterback often and forces turnovers effectively, so getting support on the other end goes a long way.
