1. Joe Mixon Carries Bengals To Victory
Joe Mixon quite literally carried the Bengals to their first victory on Sunday, as he had an all-around excellent performance.
Mixon carried the ball 25 times, for 151 yards and two touchdowns. This was absolutely Mixon’s best performance of the season, as his previous season-high in rush yards was Week 1 vs. the Chargers, when he ran for 69 yards.
As if Mixon’s first and second rushing touchdown of the season were not good enough, he also had an incredible touchdown reception from Burrow. Mixon hurdled a defender as he approached the goal line, and then took a big hit as he crossed into the end zone.
Mixon entered this season fresh off signing a new four-year, $48 million extension, and the 24 year-old performed like a superstar on Sunday.
