1. Lions Finally Snap Losing Streak

It finally happened…the Lions managed to put an end to their 11-game losing streak. Having the win come against an ascending team like the Cardinals who held a 2-0 record upon the opening kickoff makes it all the better.

There was solid consistency displayed by the Lions in this game offensively. While they didn’t light up the scoreboard in each of their quarters, they managed to at least get on the board within each frame. Meanwhile, the Cardinals came up empty in the fourth quarter — proving to be costly.

On top of the Lions’ offense showing some rhythm, the defense displayed some promise being able to make big plays to create some turnovers.

It won’t be easy for the Lions to build their recent victory into a winning streak as they take on the Saints in Week 4. If Detroit can get the job done against New Orleans, then it’s time to start thinking of them as a potential Wild Card threat.
