The Lions Need To Use Adrian Peterson Way More

After a strong performance in Week 1, the Lions entered Week 2 against the Packers with a great chance to establish their running game. Star defensive lineman Kenny Clark was inactive for Green Bay, but the Lions failed to take advantage.

Adrian Peterson was going to be a major X-Factor one way or the other for the Lions. He could have thrived with Clark out of the game.

Unfortunately, the Lions only handed him the football seven times this week, resulting in 41 yards. Those numbers average out to an impressive 5.9 yards per carry.

Those numbers show that Peterson found great success against the Packers. Detroit has to start using him more often. Peterson is their best runner and they need to get him the football more moving forward.
