Matt Patricia Needs To Go

Finally, the Lions have to make a decision soon. Reports have come out of Detroit that the players don’t like playing for Matt Patricia and there has been no success on the field. It’s time for the Lions to pull the plug on the Patricia experiment.

During his 34 games as head coach in Detroit, the Lions are just 9-23-1. That record should speak for itself.

Moving on from Patricia now would make a ton of sense for the Lions. They could have some extra time to research and consider new head coaching options. Also, the team might just play better with an interim head coach.

Patricia had a lot of success as defensive coordinator of the Patriots. However, things have not worked out for him as a head coach. He may do better with a change of scenery, but his time in Detroit is numbered.
