The Packers Have Enough Talent At Wide Receiver
One of the biggest questions entering the season for the Packers was whether or not they have enough firepower on the offensive side of the ball. Davante Adams is a true superstar, but Green Bay needs more.
In Week 1, the Packers received more than enough production against the Vikings. Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a big game with four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. Allen Lazard also stepped up with four catches for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Adams, on the other hand, put together a monstrous game. He caught 14 passes for 156 yards and two scores. Those numbers made for a 43-point performance.
While the Packers will still need to answer this same question moving forward, they have to feel confident. The young wide receivers stepped up this week and the offense in general looked much better than it did in 2019.
