Josh Jacobs Is An Elite NFL Running Back

After putting together a strong rookie season with the Raiders in 2019, it is clear that Jacobs was motivated to dominate in his second year. Starting it off against the Panthers was a great thing for Jacobs and he made the most of the matchup.

Jacobs ended up carrying the football 25 times for 93 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 46 yards in the game.

Gruden and company have an elite running back on their hands. It is only a matter of time before he is considered to be one of the top-five running backs in the game.

With him leading the way on the ground, the Raiders are going to have a very dangerous offense. Derek Carr is no longer going to be asked to shoulder such a large load. Jacobs is the real deal and he began showing it in Week 1.
