3. The Rams Ground Game
The Los Angeles Rams have a solid QB in Jared Goff and very capable receivers in Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods. However, since the start of the 2020-21 season, the Rams have relied on their ground game to begin the season 2-0.
Against the Dallas Cowboys, the Rams gained 153 yards on 40 carries. The bulk of that damage was done by Malcolm Brown.
Against the Eagles, Darrell Henderson stepped into the spotlight and contributed 81 yards on 12 carries with an average of 6.8 yards per carry. The Eagles had no answer for the Rams’ rushing attack after having success against Washington. The Los Angeles front line has done a marvelous job so far this season and if the early success is any indication, the Rams will be a force to be reckoned with.
In two games, the Rams have rushed for 344 yards on 79 carries. Couple that with Goff and his receivers, and the Rams deserve to be 2-0 on the season.
