1. Rams Exploited the Eagles’ Linebackers

The Los Angeles Rams proved why watching game film is so important. The Eagles’ linebackers are one of the worst groups in the NFL. The Rams offensive coordinator had to know this going in as the Rams were able to exploit the middle of the field with no problem.

Look at the rushing attack. The Rams gained 191 yards on the ground and the majority of that came up the gut. There was simply no answer from the Eagles’ defense in this regard, particularly due to the linebacking group.

It was the same for the passing attack of the Rams. Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods sat in the middle of the zone and moved the chains with ease. On the other side of things, tight end Tyler Higbee broke free for three touchdowns.

Higbee’s touchdowns may not have come across the middle but he’s an LB’s assignment. Three touchdowns by a tight end just goes to show how the Rams executed their gameplan to perfection.
