Carson Wentz Continues To Have To Perservere
It’s no secret the Philadelphia Eagles have fielded a terrible offensive line this season— partly due to injuries, but also underwhelming roster configuration. As expected, a matchup with a tough Baltimore Ravens defense forced Carson Wentz to overcome.
Against the Baltimore Ravens, Carson Wentz completed 21-of-40 (52.5%) pass attempts for 213 yards, two touchdowns, and no picks.
It seems every week Wentz has to go through great lengths to avoid pass rushers while having to overcome having underwhelming pass-catching options within their offense. He certainly wasn’t always successful as he was sacked six times and had a 40.4 QBR.
Wentz put together some impressive results by himself in the ground-game, too. He took off for a 40-yard run en route to a performance that featured totals of five carries, 49 rushing yards, and one touchdown run.
