2. Turnovers Hurt The Dolphins
After getting off to a slow start to this game, the Dolphins needed to produce a nearly perfect second half on offense to win this game.
The Dolphins found a bit of a rhythm to begin the second half. They converted on a made field goal after picking off Russell Wilson. Then forced a three-and-out to set up yet another made field goal. Failing to find the end-zone began to become a real issue immediately after this point.
The Seahawks jumped back out to a 24-15 lead after Russell Wilson connected with David Moore for a 17-yard touchdown. The Dolphins still were in the game, but throwing an interception pretty much ended any hope Miami had.
For the second time in this game, the Seahawks used an interception to give their offense very favorable starting field position. This setup a quick two-play drive ending in a touchdown— solidifying Seattle’s victory.
