Derrick Henry Pulled Off A Dominant Display
The foundation of the Tennessee Titans’ offense has clearly been the presence that Derrick Henry provides in the backfield. He showed precisely why that’s the case during a matchup with the Houston Texans.
Against the Texans, Henry managed to have a truly incredible performance— totaling 22 carries, 212 yards, and two touchdowns. This marked the third time in his NFL career that he’s surpassed the 200-yard mark within a single-game and did so each with multiple touchdowns.
Let’s not forget, one of Henry’s touchdown runs was 94-yards and proved to be critical in this game. That single run helped him to surpass the entire Texans’ offense in rushing yards.
It seems fitting that Tennessee’s drive to begin overtime was capped off by Henry recording a five-yard touchdown run— confirming a Titans win.
