4 major takeaways from the Titans vs. Vikings matchup in Week 3

The Tennessee Titans and Minnesota Vikings went up against each other in a Week 3 matchup. After no shortage of ups and downs for each team, the Titans came out on top with 31-30 being the final score.

While they didn’t end up winning this game, the Vikings were the team that appeared to hold an edge in the opening half. Minnesota was up 7-6 through the first quarter and then took on a 17-9 lead at halftime. It didn’t take long for that to unravel a bit.

The Titans took over in the third quarter by outscoring the Vikings by a 16-7 margin within the frame. That enabled Tennessee to hold a 25-24 lead entering the final period — setting up a slight victory after both teams put up six points for the rest of the outing.

It has been essentially a polar opposite start to the season for both the Vikings and Titans. Through the initial three weeks, Minnesota has failed to get a single win while Tennessee has come out on top in each of their three matchups.

With that being said, let’s take a look at four major takeaways from the Tennessee Titans vs. Minnesota Vikings matchup in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
