The level of play from Dalvin Cook served as a great reminder as to why he’s worth a substantial contract He managed to gain 181 yards in the ground game and found the end-zone once on 22 total carries. He set the tone for Minnesota’s offense in a major way.

Meanwhile, the Titans benefited significantly from Derrick Henry’s presence in the running game. He received 26 carries resulting in 119 yards along with a pair of touchdowns.

It’s difficult to envision where either team would have been had their star running backs failed to deliver. Well, that’s actually the case in most weeks since they each set the tone for their respective offenses.
