4 major takeaways from the Vikings vs. Seahawks matchup in Week 5

The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks squared off on Sunday Night Football in what turned out to be an exciting game.

It was a strong start for the Vikings in this game— outscoring the Seahawks 13-0 in the first half. It was an impressive feat to hold a Russell Wilson-led team scoreless for an opening half, but that success didn’t last long for Minnesota.

Using a 21-point display in the third quarter, the Seahawks held a 21-19 lead entering the fourth quarter. Minnesota managed to take the lead in the final period but it certainly didn’t last. Seattle ultimately pulled off a game-winning drive— pulling off a 27-26 victory.

Now, the Seahawks hold a 5-0 win entering their bye week. Meanwhile, the Vikings are 1-4 and will take on the Atlanta Falcons in their next game.
