4. Kirk Cousins Did Enough To Win

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has struggled this season up until this point, which is a big reason the team was winless. Cousins had six interceptions entering Sunday, but did not throw any against Houston.

Cousins completed 16 of 22 passes, for 260 yards. He threw a touchdown, and had his highest passer rating of the season, at 127.1.

If the Vikings are going to get back on track over the next few weeks, they’ll need Cousins to minimize turnovers, as he did on Sunday.

Now that Minnesota is no longer facing the pressure of a winless record, Cousins and company can focus on trying to get back into the race in the NFC North.
