2. The Will Fuller-Deshaun Watson Connection Is Alive And Well

Will Fuller has settled into his role as Deshaun Watson’s main target, now that DeAndre Hopkins resides in Arizona.

Fuller caught six of his seven targets, for 108 yards, and a touchdown against the Vikings. No other Texans receiver had more than three catches, as tail back David Johnson saw a heavy load of carries.

For Fuller, the Texans need him and Watson on the same page, and frequently.

It’s never easy to lose a player such as Hopkins, but if Fuller can stay healthy, he has the ability to be the main target in Houston. Ultimately, it wasn’t enough to secure their first win, but Houston will need to rely on this duo as the season progresses.
