The final game of the NFL’s Week 1 slate featured an intriguing showdown between the Tennessee Titans and Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.

Neither the Titans nor Broncos managed to get their offense clicking overly well in this game. The score was a 7-7 tie at halftime and it wasn’t until late in the third quarter and the beginning of the fourth period that both teams managed to find the end-zone again.

The outcome of this matchup was truly decided near the absolute end. With just roughly 17 seconds remaining on the clock, the Titans managed to convert on a 25-yard field goal to take a 16-14 lead. That ultimately landed Tennessee a victory in Week 1.

It was a tough game for the Broncos partly because their offense is already dealing with a substantial amount of injuries. Between Courtland Sutton, K.J. Hamler, and some spots on the offensive line, Denver had to try to overcome some key inactives but couldn’t get it done.

With that being said, let’s take a look at four major takeaways from the Tennessee Titans vs. Denver Broncos matchup in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.
