Tom Brady
The last pass Tom Brady threw as a member of the New England Patriots was intercepted by Logan Ryan and taken to the house. Since then, he opted to depart his former team in favor of signing with the Buccaneers.
It’s going to be important that Brady proves he still has plenty left in the tank. That’s a fair question considering he’s 43-year-old and will be playing for a head coach in Bruce Arians who is notorious for having his quarterbacks chuck the ball downfield a ton.
Without having the preseason to get live reps against outside competition, the Buccaneers’ offense could require an adjustment period. Unless, of course, Brady is able to come out of the gate and find a rhythm with his new teammates to get points on the board.
There is substantial continuity within the Saints’ offense, one that managed to put up elite results in 2019. Tampa Bay is going to need big results from Brady to be able to keep pace with New Orleans in that regard.
