4 major X-Factors to watch from the Cowboys vs. Rams matchup in Week 1

The beginning of the 2020 NFL season is rapidly approaching. For the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams, both teams will face off against each other in Week 1 with the goal of getting off to a 1-0 start to the season.

It was a disappointing 2019 season for both the Cowboys and Rams. Particularly for Los Angeles, coming off a Super Bowl appearance and failing to make the playoffs is tough. Meanwhile, Dallas was favorites to win the NFC East and make some noise in the playoffs but couldn’t get it done.

There is plenty of reason to believe that both the Cowboys and Rams could put together a strong bounce-back campaign in 2020. Each team has a lot of talented pieces and will be expected to be successful.

Managing to get a win in Week 1 could go a long way for either team to be able to get on the right track. The Cowboys have upcoming matchups with the Falcons and Seahawks while the Rams will face the Eagles and Bills next, so neither team has it easy early on.

With that, let’s take a look at four major X-Factors to watch from the Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams matchup in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.
