Marcus Maye
Maye’s future with the Jets was a bit questionable at the start of the 2020 offseason. That is until the Jets traded away safety Jamal Adams.
Now, Marcus Maye will line up with Bradley McDougald, who was part of the package the Jets received for Adams. Maye will now be seen as a leader on defense, especially also without Mosley in the linebacker corps.
Last season, Maye was graded out as the No. 20 safety in the 2019 season according to PFF and had a grade of 74.5. He’s going to have to be better if the Jets wants to compete for the division.
The Bills have one of the best arms in Josh Allen and two serious deep threats in John Brown and Stefon Diggs. Adam Gase is going to need Maye to play a bigger role sans Adams.
