Both the Las Vegas Raiders and Carolina Panthers made some big moves this offseason. This is going to be an intriguing Week 1 matchup between now two teams trying to compete in 2020.

The Raiders will begin their first season in Las Vegas against the Panthers. Jon Gruden will enter his third season back with the team looking to improve once again. The Raiders improved by three games from 2018 to last season.

Tyrell Williams was placed on the IR but the Raiders will have first-round selection Henry Ruggs III in the slot. At tight end, Darren Waller has turned into an extremely strong option. The defense, especially the new linebacking group, will have their hands full with Christian McCaffrey.

The Panthers feature one of the top running backs in football. McCaffrey is a three down back who can carry the ball or be a receiver out of the backfield. They hired Matt Rhule to be the new head coach and will also have a new quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater.

The Ron Rivera and Cam Newton eras are over in Carolina. Now, Rhule will have receivers like D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson to work with on the offensive end with Bridgewater under center.

With that being said, let’s take a look at four major X-Factors to watch in the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Carolina Panthers matchup in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.
