4. Derrick Brown

The Panthers opted for the dominant Auburn defensive lineman Derrick Brown in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He will be expected to make a big impact right away and he will be tested immediately against the Raiders.

The Raiders have one of the best young talents in their backfield. Josh Jacobs burst onto the scene as a rookie and set the tone for the Raiders’ offense. He is a back that is capable of being a workhorse for Las Vegas and they will use him on any down.

This will be on display in Week 1 and Brown will be part of the crew stopping him. A team’s first-round pick needs to come in and make an impact right away.

Heading into the first game of the season, Brown is ready to make a name for himself. Whether it is getting to the quarterback or stopping the run along the defensive line, he will need to be a force from the first snap.
