3. Panthers Offensive Line
The Panthers entered the offseason knowing that they had to improve their offensive line. They made moves in free agency to address the problem. This will help keep Teddy Bridgewater healthy and give Christian McCaffrey even more room to run.
The Panthers traded Trai Turner for Russell Okung to play left tackle. While the trade was not initially praised by fans, this gives the Panthers a veteran presence at the most important position along the offensive line.
Matt Paradis will be back at center after signing a free-agent deal in 2019. John Miller, Dennis Daley, and Michael Schofield will be in competition for the guard positions while Taylor Moton will take his spot at right tackle.
The offensive line is extremely important on a football team. This is especially true for the Panthers with the amount they use their running back. This is a unit that will have to stay healthy and be productive throughout the season, and it starts in Week 1 against the Raiders.
