Eddie Jackson, Safety, Chicago Bears
If the Bears are going to move to 2-0 on the season, they need their secondary to make plays against Jones. As the Steelers proved last week, Jones is prone to make some big mistakes. Eddie Jackson and company need to keep that trend going this week.
Last week, Jackson finished with just six tackles against the Lions. He didn’t make any big plays in the secondary. However, there is no question that Jackson is capable of being an elite playmaker for the Bears.
In 2019, Jackson racked up two interceptions and five defended passes. Back in 2018, he ended up with six interceptions and 15 defended passes. Chicago needs to see that version of Jackson again.
New York’s offense isn’t a unit that scares anyone. Chicago has a top-notch defense and Jackson needs to step up and lead the secondary to a big performance.
