Jabrill Peppers, Safety, New York Giants

Next up, the Giants are going to need someone from their secondary to step up in Week 2. Mitchell Trubisky is not the best quarterback and has been known to make some mistakes as well. New York needs to capitalize on some of his mistakes.

When looking at the Giants’ defense, there is only one name that sticks out as a potential playmaker. That would be Jabrill Peppers.

In Week 1, Peppers ended up with three tackles and a defended pass. He is electric with the ball in his hands and that speed will help him force a key turnover against Trubisky.

New York has a very young and unproven secondary. Peppers is the leader of that secondary and it’s time to see him step up and become that leader on the field.
