Jeff Okudah
Speaking of Jeff Okudah, the No. 3 overall pick ultimately can make a big difference on Sunday. He will be tasked with stifling a dangerous passing offense in the Packers.
The Packers showed in Week 1 that this is no run-first offense. Rodgers threw for 364 yards against the Vikings, the second-most in Week 1 behind only the Atlanta Falcons. With a depleted secondary in Detroit, Rodgers will surely eye to take advantage.
A hamstring injury delayed Okudah’s debut, but he was a full participant in practiuce this week and set to start alongside Amani Oruwariye at corner.
With the as mentioned before injuries at corner, Okudah can’t expect to get any sort of relief. He will need to lock in and prove why he was taken third overall and has a tough first task at hand with Green Bay.
