Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson may be 35-years-old, but he has shown no signs of slowing down.

After being released by the Washington Football Team and signed by the Lions, he broke out for 93 yards and on 14 carries and added another 21 yards in the air in Week 1 against the Bears.

The Bears’ have one of the top defenses in the league and Peterson led the rushing attack for the Lions. The Packers’ run defense was very average in 2019 and started off 2020 by giving up 134 rushing yards to the Vikings.

With no Kenny Clark for the Packers in Week 2, it’s a chance for Peterson to once again set the tone on the ground. The Lions have three reliable options at running back with Peterson, Kerryon Johnson and D’Andre Swift, but Peterson was the only one that made a real impact in the rushing game. The Lions will need him again to find success rushing.
