Robert Tonyan, Tight End, Packers
Keeping with the offensive trend of this game, the Packers should focus on getting their tight ends involved. Robert Tonyan has stepped up as the primary receiving tight end for Aaron Rodgers, as can be seen from his performance against the Lions in Week 2.
Tonyan ended up catching two passes for 25 yards and a key touchdown for the Packers in Week 2.
Last week against the Raiders, the Saints had a horrible game defending tight end Darren Waller. Tonyan is nowhere near the talent that Waller is, but he could have a big game against a New Orleans defense that struggles against tight ends.
New Orleans will focus on limiting Davante Adams and the Packers’ wide receivers. If Tonyan can come in and make an impact, the Green Bay offense will be in a very good position.
