David Njoku’s Four Games Played
Coming into the 2019 season, David Njoku was expected to have a breakout season. He is a massive target and Freddie Kitchens’ offensive system was expected to help him out in a big way.
Unfortunately, Njoku ended up catching just five passes for 41 yards and one touchdown. He also only played in four games all season long.
Njoku’s inability to stay healthy was a major disappointment. It’s not his fault, but he needs to be on the field. Cleveland’s offense should look much better in 2020 with Kevin Stefanski running the show and Njoku will be a big part of it.
